House Rules

Smoking is not permitted indoors, but you can take advantage of the private terrace adjacent to the living room that was set up specifically for that purpose. Also, the apartment is really meant for two guests only. Airbnb has banned parties for apartment and condo listings, with penalties for both hosts and guests. We strive to comply as best we can with the platform’s rules and regulations, and we believe that in this particular instance these changes also align with safety and noise concerns from our immediate neighbors. As such, we kindly ask you not to host guests of your own beyond those listed in your initial reservation and to be mindful of creating noise after 11PM. Bringing total occupancy above two people without written agreement from your host will imply a 100 USD surcharge per guest per night independently of whether they sleep over, and may be grounds for immediate termination of your stay without any refund on the remaining nights of your reservation if we receive complaints from our neighbors arising from any gathering that may have taken place in the apartment.

My husband and I had the privilege of staying at Andres’ apartment for a week, and it was an incredible experience from start to finish. The apartment is located in the heart of Roma Norte-one of the most amazing neighborhoods in Mexico City-surrounded by countless cafes, restaurants, shops, and cantinas all within walking distance. The apartment itself was beautiful, bright, secure, spotless, and tastefully decorated with original artwork. Andres provides an extensive and thoughtful guidebook for guests, which was very helpful, and he was always available to answer any additional questions with kindness and understanding. This was my first trip to Mexico City, and staying at Andres’ property made it even more special. I would absolutely love to return and stay here again. Thank you, Andres, for going above and beyond as a host! I have learned from you!

Our stay at Andres’ place was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was even more beautiful in person and the neighborhood was so great and close to all the best bakeries and cafes. The doormen were very friendly and we always felt safe. Andres was very responsive when we reached out about a slight issue and fixed our problem within the hour. Great communication and amazing service. I recommend Andres’ apartment and would love to stay here again the next time we’re in Mexico City!

Andres was extremely responsive and very accommodating. The instructions for check in were detailed. The property was clean, had a spacious layout and was located close to everything we needed. The doorman was a nice touch, and gave us a sense of security although it was a very safe neighborhood. Would highly recommend this property! Amazing location!

We had a comfortable stay in this charming apartment, perfectly situated on a lively street filled with clothing stores, cafes, and restaurants—you may never want to leave! The building is very secure, and we were warmly greeted by the doorman throughout our visit, which added a nice touch of hospitality. The additional half bathroom was a great convenience, especially when getting ready in the mornings. One thing to note: there’s no closet to hang clothes. While there is a small rack in the main bathroom, it’s more suitable for air-drying than storing outfits.

If you are a couple (or a single) looking to stay in Roma Norte, this place can’t be beat. I have stayed in 4-5 airbnbs in CDMX so I know. First, check-in. I didn’t ask for an early checkin and texted when I landed so I had to kill an hour before security/doorman would let me in (fine by me). The doorman are the BEST. They let you in the gate and you can then deal with getting into the apartment without fumbling with keys and codes on the street. This was super important as I was single for 2 night. Inside the apartment is a nicely appointed junior one-bedroom with 1.5 bathrooms. A functional kitchen with some basic condiments and things. Nice patio to let some air in. Big comfy king bed. Great shower. I have stayed in so many airbnbs where the pictures are glossy but the place is not-rundown and dingy. THIS WAS NOT. And the location-it you are doing gringa Roma Norte this is the spot. Colima is the best street (stay off Obregón). Shopping is a problem 😂

The apartment's street is very quiet, but you're very close to major transportation lines. Metrobus Insurgentes is two blocks away, Metrobus Cuauhtemoc is six blocks away and major transportation hub Metro Insurgentes is three blocks away. There's also a taxi Station two blocks away in Alvaro Obregón, and the whole neighborhood is always full of Uber drivers looking to pickup fares. Major avenues such as Reforma or Avenida Chapultepec are in close walking distance from the apartment (nine and four blocks away respectively). Finally, the apartment has a parking space available for you if you're planning on arriving by car.
